Let's Get Weird! Avant Garde Burlesque Inspriation with Pedi Bourgeois

Feeling stuck in a rut? Need new inspiration but don't know where to look? Wanna get weird? This ridiculously fun class draws on performance practices outside burlesque to get your creative juices flowing. Through acting and movement exercises and group collaboration, you'll come away with concrete strategies to shake things up and expand your sense of what's possible. In particular, we will be using Brian Eno's "Oblique Strategies" and the process-oriented approach of Fluxus, an experimental artistic movement dating back to the 1960s, to take us to places we haven't gone before.

Please dress comfortably and bring a notebook and a pen or pencil.
