In this workshop we’ll explore hyper-sexual movement with an unapologetic attitude. We’ll turn the lights down low + embrace our inner slutty slut slut dance time movement. Basically, let’s just have a fun time + f*ck the patriarchy telling us how to move our bodies. What to wear: heels, bare feet, socks, sexy clothes, sweatpants, Pleasers...whatever you want! As might be moments on the floor in either choreography or warm-up, kneepads are always a good idea if you have sensitive joints

Explore everything from Festival Submissions, Expectations, Prop usage, and the importance of Entrances & Exits aiding in attitudes and spatial awareness. This class is a conversation about what makes a good burlesque emcee. With over 20 years of emceeing and hosting in cabarets, burlesque and drag shows, block parties and circuses, Foxy Tann has made a few observations. If you are an aspiring host and emcee this is what The Fox considers the bare minimum that you need to do/know to steer a successful show. From stalling and hecklers to tech f*ck ups and costume malfunctions, you will learn some basic strategies to deal with disasters large and small.

We all get booked in spaces where we are expected to put on a show with no stage, this class will prepare you to rock the floor show! Peekaboo will share her experience and tips for adapting to any space and creating an exciting performance anywhere. We will be moving in this class, so if you like wearing heels, bring them. But they are not necessary. Wear comfortable clothes!
